Partnering
Partner questions, answered.
Answers to the questions organisations and businesses ask before creating a partner page.
Is there a contract to sign?
The full partner terms are public at lukeni.io/payments-and-donations, together with our Terms of Use. Creating a page is the acceptance; there is no separate paperwork.
What does it cost my clients?
For US clients: Standard biography $519; Premium $899; optional recorded interview $349. Prices are fixed per market, so a client is charged exactly what they were quoted. A detailed breakdown can be found at lukeni.io/pricing.
What do I receive for each order, and when do clients pay?
Non-profit organisations: You receive a 100 donation, in the buyer's currency, for every completed order. The donation is made by us, out of the price of the order. It is not added to the family's bill, and it is not a donation by the family: families pay the same price everywhere on Lukeni.
For-profit businesses: For every biography commissioned through your page, you receive 100 in the buyer's currency, so $100 for a US client, unless a different rate is shown in your dashboard. For an EU-based client paying in euro, you would receive €100. The same applies for GBP, AUD and CAD. It is paid by us out of the sale price; nothing is added to the client's bill. Clients pay only after approving the biography. We take no payment in advance, and we deliver the first draft for approval within 48 hours of their submission.
How are referrals tracked to me?
Referrals are tracked through your page link: when a client reaches us by clicking it, the order is credited to you automatically, so please share your page link specifically rather than lukeni.io; otherwise, the order cannot be attributed to you.
How and when am I paid?
Payouts run through Stripe. During registration you connect a Stripe account inside your partner dashboard. The 100 is routed to your Stripe balance automatically at the moment a client pays, and Stripe then pays it out to your linked bank account automatically. We deduct no platform or administrative fees.
Who issues the invoice for my fee?
For-profit businesses: There is no invoicing work on your side: referral fees are settled by self-billing, meaning ThemisNexus OÜ issues the invoice for each fee in your company's name and on its behalf, marks it as self-billed, and sends you the copy for your records. You never need to raise an invoice yourself.
Non-profit organisations: Donations to community organisations are gifts; no invoice arises on either side.
What appears on my page, my name, logo and clients?
Your page shows your name and whatever text and imagery you add in the page builder, nothing else. We ask permission before using your name or materials anywhere else.
Do you contact my clients, or use my client list?
We never receive your client information: you share your page link yourself, and we provide sample emails you may use, but we do not store your contacts or send emails on your behalf or as Lukeni. When a family decides to commission a biography, they deal with us directly. ThemisNexus OÜ, the EU-based company that operates Lukeni, is the merchant of record and data controller for those orders. Families are given access to our web application, app.stinmnimi.gr, to submit materials and follow a structured life story questionnaire.
Is it exclusive, and can I stop at any time?
Nonexclusive; the terms place no restriction on who else you work with. Either side can end the arrangement at any time, by email or by deleting the page. Anything earned up to that point is still paid out to you.
Can I see a sample?
Samples can be found at lukeni.io/demo. Additionally, at lukeni.io/memory you can choose a Greek community and a generation and see the historical world we can place around the lives your research documents.
Do you have conversion data for the partner programme?
The partner programme is brand new, so we do not yet have conversion statistics we could honestly present as representative. What we can tell you is what your audience would see: a co-branded page under your name, biographies priced at $519 (Standard) and $899 (Premium) in the US market, and clients only pay after they have approved their biography, which removes most of the purchase risk you would otherwise be asking readers to take.
What if my page or link isn't converting?
Because it is early, partners joining now get direct access to the founder. If a page or link format is not converting for your audience, we will work with you on it personally rather than through a generic dashboard.
What does a family actually do?
A family member completes a life story questionnaire on our web application, which takes 30 to 60 minutes and covers identity, relationships, childhood, adult life and character, and work and contributions, and uploads any photographs they want included. We write the draft and send it back. The family reads it and tells us what to change: a detail that is wrong, a memory we missed, a tone that does not fit. We refine it. Nothing is published, and nothing is charged, until the family has approved the final version.
Who writes the biographies?
Each biography is written by Lukeni's own system from two inputs: the family's answers to the questionnaire, and a research base of books, academic sources and community records on Greek life and migration. AI language models are part of that system; the research base, the method and the checks around it are ours. Every draft is read by a human editor before the family sees it, and the family reviews, corrects and approves it before anything is published or charged. We do not disclose the method itself.
How are photographs, documents and family stories protected?
ThemisNexus OÜ, the EU-based company that operates Lukeni, is the data controller. What a family submits, and the biography we produce from it, is stored with our hosting provider under access controls and encrypted transport. It is never shared with data brokers or advertisers. The finished memorial is private and visible only to the family unless the family chooses otherwise. A family can delete what it submitted and what we produced at any time, and nothing is published until the family has approved it. The full policy is at lukeni.io/privacy.
Who is behind Lukeni?
Lukeni was founded by Monica Wagner, who is based in Athens, and is operated by ThemisNexus OÜ, an EU-registered company. The service launched in 2026. It is a small company, and partners joining now deal directly with the founder.
How do I get started?
