Ownership & Control
Who controls the Memorial Website?
Whoever creates the memorial, or anyone else they authorise. Access can be handed to another family member at any time.
Public or private?
You decide whether the memorial is public or private, and you can change that at any time.
Who owns my data?
The content belongs to you and your family. We don't sell it or use it commercially. Data is stored and processed in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Can I remove or delete it?
The digital memorial can be removed or deactivated at any time. On request, all content can be permanently deleted.
What happens if the person who created it is no longer here?
Access passes to another family member designated in advance. The memorial continues as normal.
Timeline & Changes
What's the hosting duration?
Hosting is included for 35 years. After that, you can download all the material or extend hosting.
Can I add more content after the Memorial Website is created?
Yes — lifetime editing is included. Standard allows up to 100 photos in the online collection and up to 30 in the printed book. Premium allows an unlimited online collection and up to 50 in the book.
When will I receive everything?
We email you a link to upload your material. The Memorial Website is ready within 7 days of receiving it, and you can keep adding photos afterward.
What if I want a change, or something isn't right?
Email us — we make the change or respond within 24 hours. The memorial page is only published once you've approved the final version.
How do I get in touch?
Write to us at info@lukeni.io. We respond within 24 hours. Including the full name of the person the memorial is for helps us find your record faster.
Payment
Do I pay before I see the finished biography?
No. You review and approve the final biography first — nothing is charged until you approve it.
Continuity
What happens if the company stops operating, changes hands, or changes domain?
The memorial page stays accessible as a static website. Your link keeps working through a permanent redirect.
