How It Works
What happens when you start.
You share what you know. We do the rest. Five steps from questionnaire to permanent memorial.
The questionnaire
Takes 30–60 minutes and covers five areas: identity, relationships, childhood, adult life and character, and work and contributions — organised into three chapters: Origins, Character, and Echo.
The biography
Every biography is specific to this person — the village they came from, the generation they belonged to, the work they did, the character the family remembers. We draw on over 1,000 books, academic sources, and community records covering Greek life, migration, and memory, wherever it was lived.
You review and approve
We send you the draft. You read it and tell us what to change — a detail that's wrong, a memory we missed, a tone that doesn't feel right. We refine it. Nothing is published, and nothing is charged, until you've approved the final version.
We produce the memorial
Once approved, we build the memorial website and your downloadable biography PDF. Premium orders also include the children's biography — the same life written for young readers aged 6–10, roughly 40 pages with custom illustrations, delivered as a hardcover copy. So every child in the family has a way to know the person they lost, or never got to meet.
The memorial is yours, permanently
The memorial website stays online for 35 years — no subscription, no renewal, no expiry. Private, visible only to family, or shared more widely — you decide. Family and friends can leave tributes at every stage of remembrance: the 9-day, the 40-day, and the annual mnimosino.
